Things are just weird. We are in a recession and in one of the greatest financial crisis that I will probably ever see, but lots of people are still making lots of money and capitalizing on other people’s inefficiencies.
Today I read:
Northwest Airlines and Delta have merged. That makes them the largest carrier in the U.S…intersting
Exxon Mobil reported its highest profit making almost $5 billion more than this time last year…makes sense since gas prices suck (although they are coming down now)
Shell’s profits are also up 22%
WAMU bought by JP Morgan Chase
Bank of America acquires Merril Lynch and Country Wide
