FAWM and My Thoughts

Well, it’s almost the end of the month, and I’ve written 6 songs which is pretty exciting. The funny thing is, I’m not convinced the songs were that great, but it did stretch me and force me to do what I’ve been trying to make myself do. If anything, writing the songs has helped to think about the lyrics that make up the song. As I want to be a worship leader, I think that’s important. I have a lot of respect for the hymn writers as I found it exceptionally hard to write lyrics using solid words like those found in that song genre. Anyway, it’s been really fun!

Utah Highlights

Alright, so here are a few highlights from my trip to Salt Lake City, formerly known as Great Salt Lake City.

First there was the awesome setup of the conference.

We rode on a bus everywhere we went and everything was branded amazingly.

Then there was the “keynote” hall which felt like a Coldplay concert…with Maroon 5 dance mix music blaring…and flashing lights.

Then there was the Jazz game where we sat in the 14th row.

Then there was the Maroon 5 concert pre-gathering where we met Glen “big baby” Davis (Picture to prove it below)

Then there was the Maroon 5 concert where I stood 3 ft. away from Adam Levine.

Not to mention a ton of the world’s greatest advertisers and researchers including, but not limited to, Martin Sorell the CEO of WPP, Martin Lindstrom best-selling author, and George Colony the CEO of Forrester Research (Not George Clooney the actor).

It was a pretty amazing week.

The Truth About Our Generation (Funny)

Sorry for the delay in posting, it was a crazy week last week, and trust me, good pictures are coming. But this was too funny to throw in the archives to post later.

This guy is spot on and the truths he speaks give me chills…this is actually just a funny commentary on technology today.
