The Evolution of Technology

This is how it all started…

Remember how a couple years ago they came out with the technology to surf the web on your TV? They made it look real easy. You just take your wireless keyboard and mouse, and surf the web in your living room. It was so easy that no one did it.

Technology has come a long way since then, let alone what you saw in the video. It’s funny how it started as a sharing/social platform, talking about football and philosophy since that is the new craze of today, i.e. Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Youtube, etc.

Really, I’m not saying alot, but it’s pretty amazing to see how far technology has come. Today (on Twitter), I found an article about this new TV coming out from Vizio. This is a nice integration of many of the things we do today. For those of you who aren’t quite bleeding edge, this may be a little stunning, but my advice to you is just give it time. The pattern I have noticed for technology is this: create something new/cool, create another something new/cool, combine those things, make them better, create something new/cool, etc. We create a lot, then we integrate. If you wait long enough, you can probably just replace your tech at the integration point and be ok, that is if you don’t want to be at the bleeding edge of course (which some people just can’t stand). Here is a little sneak peak of what to expect:
